Property Notepad ("we," "us") helps home buyers capture notes, photos, voice memos, and scores while touring properties. This policy explains what information we collect through the Property Notepad app and website, and how we use it.

Account information. We use your email address to create and sign you into your account. No password is required.

Content you create. Notes, photos, voice memos, and property scores you add to a visit, along with the property address you enter or detect via GPS.

Location. With your permission, we use your device's location during Tour Mode to detect when you arrive at a property showing. You can decline this and enter addresses manually instead.

Camera and microphone. With your permission, to let you capture photos and record voice memos of a property visit.

We use your information to operate the app: storing your notes and media, syncing shared workspaces between collaborators (co-buyers, family, or your agent), and generating AI summaries of your notes for a property visit. Notes, voice transcripts, and scores you add to a visit may be sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) solely to generate that summary.

We do not sell your personal information or your content to third parties.

Your notes and property visits are visible to anyone you invite into a shared workspace. We do not make your content public.

We retain your content for as long as your account is active. Contact us at help@propertynotepad.com to request deletion of your account and data.

The Property Notepad website and app don't use advertising or tracking cookies. We use only what's essential to keep you signed in and remember your session.

Property Notepad is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
